Things Worth Considering

gratitude

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.

Redemption is an odd thing. Because identifying the broken places in your heart and in your life can be one of the scariest exercises you ever do, and yet only then can you recognize the grace that comes buried with every hole. If the journey to the Black Hole of despair and back has taught me anything, it’s this: everything is made whole in time … if you can just hang on to the faith, hope, and love in the people and places around you long enough to see the sun rise yourself. Absolutely nothing is forsaken, not even those relationships and memories and persons that you think are lost forever. All things are made right in time. So you don’t always have to get it right on the first try.
~~Therese J. Borchard~Step #10, 10 Steps to Conquer Perfectionism

Happiness often sneaks in through a door you didn’t know you left open.
~ John Barrymore

What do you pledge?

What do you pledge?

“We live in a wonderful world
that is full of beauty,
charm and adventure.
There is no end to the adventures
that we can have if only we seek them
with our eyes open.”

“You must become the love, forgiveness, non-judgment and Compassion that you choose in your relationships of friendship, romance and employment. If peace is the desired reality within the global matrix, then peace must become the reality within the local matrix of your presence. You must become that peace. It takes a relatively few number of “reference points” within the whole to bring about change in the expression of that whole.” – http://www.universal-tao.com/article/awaken.html

“If a sound was already playing when
we were born, played througout our
life, and continued playing after we
were gone, would we hear it?

Or would we hear it as silence?”
        -  Adam Ramona, 2006.

Ordinary no, really don’t think so
Not a love this true
Common destiny
We were meant to be
Me and you

Like a perfect scene from a movie screen
We’re a dream come true
Suited perfectly for eternity
Me and you

Every day, I need you even more
And the night time too
There’s no way
I could ever let you go
Even if I wanted to

Every day I live
Try my best to give
All I have to you
Thank the stars above
That we share this love Me and you

Every day, I need you even more
And the night time too
There’s no way
I could ever let you go
Even if I wanted to

Ordinary no, I really don’t think so
Just a precious few
Ever make it last
Get as lucky as
Me and you
Me and you

“When you were born, you cried and everybody else was happy. The only question that matters is this: When you die, will YOU be happy when everybody else is crying?”
~ Tony Campolo

“where do ideas come from? they come from the soul”
~ ISTE Closing Keynote Address 2008

Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind dont matter and those who matter dont mind. NEVER let go of the things that make you SMILE.

When two bodies have fusion, you have a moment.
When two minds have fusion, you have an experience. When two souls have each fusion, you have each other.

“To practice five things under all circumstances constitutes perfect virtue; these five are gravity, generosity of soul, sincerity, earnestness, and kindness.”
~ Marcus T. Cicero

“We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures that we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.”
~ Jawaharlal Nehru
